I am an independent oil producer in South Arkansas where we are responsible for disposing of saltwater, the by product of oil. We are required by law to dispose of the saltwater in certain zones in the field and in cased holes. We may have one to several wells on a lease and they run 24/7. Steel tanks separate the oil and saltwater and usually send the saltwater to a tank before it is injected into the cased hole. These tanks can create a mess within the containment and outlying area around the saltwater collection tank and possible shut down of wells and expensive clean up if this occurs. This is even worse when you are producing wells in creek bottoms and other low lying areas. Another common problem is our area is power outages. Along with Greg and his staff, we have developed a warning signal that will be sent to two cell phones within my operation showing either the power is out or when the saltwater reaches a predetermined overflow level. I am very pleased having this system in place because of the peace of mind that it provides. The cost of the system is and can be a minor expense compared to the cost of cleanup of a bad spill that would not be detected until the next day. The applications for this system are actually left to potential customer's imagination. David Bebee - El dorado, AR
